Jennifer
DIRECTOR
Originally from beautiful Yorkshire, Jennifer trained as an actor, earning a BA (Hons) in Acting before discovering her passion for teaching. With extensive experience in LAMDA training, Jennifer began her teaching journey in some of London’s leading prep schools and large franchises such as Stagecoach, before establishing Wren Tuition.
Jennifer’s teaching ethos is rooted in a practical and engaging approach to speech and drama, helping hundreds of students achieve their full potential. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she adapted quickly, developing an interactive online teaching style that offers students the flexibility to train effectively from anywhere.
Jennifer works closely with the team of Wren tutors, sharing her wealth of teaching experience and assisting students in preparing for their LAMDA exams.

TOM
TUTOR
Tom trained as an actor at the University of Northampton and has since travelled across the country performing in educational theatre and running engaging drama workshops in schools. Tom has also performed regularly in an improvisational comedy group in London — so expect plenty of energy, imagination, and laughter in his sessions! Tom loves supporting students as they build confidence, explore characters, and express themselves.
Alongside tutoring, Tom has been part of the Wren Tuition team since January 2024, supporting the smooth running of our classes and communication. He assists parents and tutors with scheduling, enquiries, and bookings, ensuring everyone feels informed and supported throughout their learning journey.

Léona
TUTOR
Léona is a dedicated and experienced LAMDA tutor, known for her personable and engaging teaching style. A graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, she has successfully taught LAMDA from Stage 1 to Grade 8, with a 90% distinction rate and the remaining 10% earning high merits.
In addition to LAMDA, Léona tutors essay writing skills up to A-level, helping students improve their spoken and written communication. She creates a positive and dynamic learning environment where students can thrive. A talented writer and performer, Léona has also showcased her work at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

CHARLOTTE
TUTOR
Charlotte completed all her LAMDA grades with distinction as a student before training in Musical Theatre and Teaching at Italia Conti, graduating in 2016. She became a qualified LAMDA Examiner in 2023 and now travels nationwide, assessing students across all LAMDA syllabi. Charlotte’s expertise and first-hand experience as both a student and examiner make her uniquely equipped to guide learners to success.

EMILY
TUTOR
Emily was the first tutor to join the Wrens team, teaching in various roles for us over the past 4 years. She has been teaching the LAMDA syllabi — Public Speaking, Acting, and Verse and Prose —for 6 years, both in person and online. She has 14 years of experience facilitating creative expression workshops as a freelance arts-in-health and education practitioner. She is passionate about theatre and performance and believes that everyone deserves access to excellent education in communication and expression. She gives her students the tools to thrive and challenge themselves, while learning more about their interests and strengths. Lessons with Emily are fun but structured, as she responds to each student's needs and supports them in reaching their goals and exam grades.

LEILA
TUTOR
Leila is an actor with a BA (hons) in Acting at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She previously completed a foundation diploma in Acting at Mountview.
Leila has previously worked as a LAMDA teacher in both primary and secondary schools, and has a 100% pass rate. She has also taught drama after-school clubs and leads public speaking sessions. Leila has experience teaching both adults and children and has a real passion for the arts that she loves to share with her students. She has worked with Wren Tuition for the past 4 years.

Lizi
TUTOR
Lizi (BA (Hons), DipRSL, PCertLam) studied at Royal Holloway, University of London, and has a consultancy background in drama teaching for everyday performance, working with clients from corporate professionals to the Houses of Parliament. During training, she also performed as a coat-style entertainer in large-scale shows and events.
Specialising in Dramatherapy, Lizi has taught drama across Early Years settings, disability charities, boarding schools, and Home Education groups. She has guided hundreds of children through their LAMDA exams, including many with special educational needs, with her last three centres achieving a 100% distinction rate.
Holding LAMDA’s highest qualification (PCertLam), Lizi became an examiner in 2024 and now travels nationwide, delighted to see and assess the exciting work of young performers.

HANNAH
TUTOR
Hannah graduated with First Class Honours in Acting from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in 2022. After stewarding online LAMDA exams during lockdown and completing LAMDA’s Syllabus in Practice training, she has taught at various theatre schools.
Over the past two years, her students have consistently achieved distinctions and high merits in Communication and Performance exams, from Entry Level to Grade 8. Passionate about creating a supportive and imaginative learning environment, Hannah helps students boost confidence and achieve their goals—whether for a professional career or personal development.

KATHLEEN
TUTOR
Kathleen trained as a dancer at Centre Performing Arts before qualifying as a performance teacher. With over 12 years of teaching experience, she has taught LAMDA at private and grammar schools across Hertfordshire. Known for her patience, reliability, and dedication, Kathleen helps students reach their full potential. Her expertise is reflected in her most recent exam results, achieving a full set of distinctions across two LAMDA exam cohorts.
